Hallig Oland - Die Besiedlung reicht bis ins Mittelalter zurück - Luftbild | Die Besiedlung reicht bis ins Mittelalter zurück (erste Erwähnung um 1231), wobei die Hallig seit der Sturmflut 1850 nur noch aus einer Warft besteht und seit 1927 über einen Lorendamm mit dem Festland bei Dagebüll sowie mit Hallig Langeneß verbunden ist. Als Tagesausflug ist Oland im Sommer per Schiff (z. B. MS Rungholt ab Schlüttsiel) oder durch geführte Wattwanderungen erreichbar, während Urlauber ganzjährig mit der Lorenbahn anreisen können.
